Pumo Yum Tso Lake
Location: 28 ° 33 'N, 90 ° 24' E; The Tibet autonomous region, 135 km southwest of Lhasa. Shannan los Mozart in county territory.
Area: 295 square kilometers.
Height: 4733 meters.
Description:
Himalayan ridge north slope of the mountain, a large freshwater lake and adjacent to the marsh. Water from the south of mountain (7600 meters) mountain snow melt, the water flows east along a short river into yangzhuoyong lake.
Main vegetation: the surrounding area to pamir plateau meadow of wormwood is dominant.
Protection measures: no.
Land use: fishing, hunting, grazing.
Economic and social value: residents in the area in and around the lake for fishing, hunting, and herding.
Wetland birds: known is an important breeding grounds and migration of water, waders.
